The Hey Mama! Homeschool Planner for 2019/20 Year is a great planner to have on hand. As you can see from the pictures, it's absolutely beautiful. GOLDENDOODLE PUPPIES

These puppies are the joys of my life at the moment.Silver is one of the more uncommon colors for a standard Goldendoodle. I think because they're born black, people just assume they're going to stay that color, but they aren't! These guys will shock you with that color change!
It has been a great educational and homeschool experience raising these puppies, and researching all about them BEFORE breeding. Would you believe the one there on the bottom left is actually PLATINUM under that fur coat she has?! It's TRUE! Mr. B has had a lot of fun researching the taxonomy of dogs, and cats, looking into the genetics of dogs, why some shed and some do not (ours do not!) etc. It's really been a great experience for us! These are lessons he will carry with him forever because they're real life, happening now in our home, kind of lessons. Math Mammoth REVIEW!!!!!

Math is one of those subjects that is hard for me to choose a particular curriculum, or style. Mr. B likes to use the computer for his work, and I also like the benefits of worksheets or printables. It's hard to find something to fit both of our needs, that is affordable, and good quality. Insert Math Mammoth. I had never even heard of Math Mammoth before it came up for review, and after checking it out I was so very excited to try out the Light Blue Series for 5th grade.

This math curriculum is mastery based and utilizes conceptual learning. I'm sure you're probably wonder what in the world that means, right? Please say yes, because I know I was certainly wondering! Basically, your student will master each topic before moving on to the next, and units are arranged in themes of sorts. Conceptual learning isn't just learning the how's, but it addresses the logic behind the math. 2+2=4, but why? That's conceptual learning, and it's GREAT for autism!
