Alisa Knows What To Do! Season 1

I had never heard of Alisa Knows What to Do! before receiving Season 1 as a disc set for review. This 3 disc set is packed with over 10 hours of episodes that are sure to entertain and educate your child. Mr. B really liked this set because the star of the show, Alisa Salazar is also 12 years old. The characters are revoiced from Russian to English, but it's so well done you'd never know it! The filmography (is that what it is called for Animation????) is very well done. I like the colors! Is that strange? There's not a bunch of in your face primary colors or just pastels like you see a lot of. Their uniforms, for example, are kind of a burnt orange color. I like that! Each episode has a "moral of the story" which is refreshing, and makes me feel better allowing my son to watch. Overall, we both really like this a lot!

Alisa knows what to do is based on the extremely popular Russian sci-fi novels by famous Russian author Kir Bulychiov about a young girl from the future, Alisa Salazar. This animated series weaves a tale about the adventures of a group of teenagers living at the end of the 21st century.

The world has changed yet the burning questions that occupied people at the beginning of the century are still pertinent today. Alisa and her friends not only battle evil and injustice but they are also concerned with global problems like a clean environment, both on the planet and in space.
