ESV Family Devotional Bible from Crossway REVIEW!

I always like to review Bibles, even if they are not the translation we personally use. I was really excited to find out I was going to be reviewing the ESV Family Devotional Bible by Crossway. This Bible includes illustrations for 130 Bible stories, as well as discussion points and questions. There is a clear distinction between the Bible parts and the devotional parts (wow, that's a horrible description. But at least I tried?) So there's no worry to get it confused. the art work is tastefully done, and not cartoon-like at all.

Overall:

This is a nice Bible to use to simplify Bible stories, but I do not use it as a replacement for my KJV. I really wish more products like this were available for KJV, and at an affordable price. It seems as if everything is produced for a myriad of other translations, yet nothing for KJV. This is disappointing. So I would continue to use this for the discussion points and questions along side my KJV, but I will not replace my KJV with it. If you are not as translation rigid as I am, then this is a very nice Bible with beautiful artwork and discussion questions that can help to further your family's devotion time.

I am very grateful to Crossway for the ability to review this Bible. Thank you!
