This is a fun app where your child travels the world locating clues to solve crimes. It's fun, but it can be beaten in a short time frame, with additional levels requiring more purchases.
This is a great app to study the movements of sharks that have been tagged by OCEARCH. VERY interesting! We used this to study the sharks along the NC coast this past summer.
This is a great app to introduce cursive writing. It is coloring, and easy to use. For autism, it is great to get the overall movements of the cursive letters. We really like this one.
Google Earth has been, and continues to be, one of our most used and favorite apps. We have traveled the world thanks to Google Earth! WE LOVE IT!
These are just a few of the apps we use on a regular basis. There are loads of math apps, include Math Bingo and Math Worksheets, you can find dissecting apps, science apps, geography, foreign language, etc. Even apps that are designed to be games can be used in an educational way-such as trivia apps, Minecraft, and simulator games. Apps can be great for homeschooling because they are easy to take on the go, use in the car, or wherever you all. They are relatively inexpensive, or free, and open up a world of learning right at your fingertips!
